You know the thing is when i watch other teams play because i have center ice package i see a different uptempo game with couple plays by players that get me out my seat and i go Wooahh what a move ! Purcell in other systems got 40+ points for last 6 years . I dont remember last time ive said that about a Kings player or game. Its the system. They dont preach creativity or let the boys show their skill. Put Purcell with Kopi he is a playmaker and tell them to get creative instead of dumping the puck in and then getting flat footed when the puck is dug out the corner with speed and headed back the other way.

Instead we see dead weight like King and Brown on the 1st line .

Pearson-Carter-Toffoli
Brown-Dowd-Seto
King-Shore-Lewis

That 4th line would be so sound defensively and maybe even the best 4th line in the league . Its possible but instead we have lines all over the place and bunch of players that are borderline NHLers . A team that has as many non finishers as King, Brown, Clifford, Lewis, Shore , Nolan what do u expect.

How is Purcell suppose to show anything when the 2 games he played were on the 4th line in a system where offense doesnt exist lol. You guys are funny

Not if they don't shoot the puck. Kopitar had multiple chances to put a simple wrist shot into the pads for a rebound.

A) Not much cap space, and 2) I don't think Lombardi believes in the roster anymore. They've given him no reason to.

Sure, get rid of King, and Clifford, and whatever other piece of driftwood. If fans don't want them though, why would another GM want them when it's their job on the line?
