GDT: 10/18 LA Kings @ Minnesota Wild 5 PM on FSW, FSN

Most of the skilled guys look disinterested maybe because they realize the game is evolving and we have players who outplayed the veterans and yet we iced a worse team . Im tired of people saying Kempe isnt ready. Gravel or Ladue cant play in the NHL ; we will see rookie mistakes. What about all the other teams who play their rookies , let them develop and learn in the NHL so they can play a major role down the line when we are ready to contend again . And Sutter still plays grinders with skilled players and expects them to perform. Shore is defensive specialist let him play on the 4th line. Dowd has more skill let him play 3rd line . Does management not see these things or are we just delusional ?

Highly doubt any player on this team is that lucid.
 
Keep Doughty, Kopitar, Carter, Toffoli, and Pearson. That's our core. All other roster players players should be available.

That said, it's the third game of the season and the team is disjointed as hell. Let's see where we're at after 10 - 12 games.
 
Carter is definitely not expendable. He is our most skilled offensive player. Kopitar is our most elite all around player but Carter is definitely the biggest threat we have offensively along with Toff and Pearson. I believe Carter can still perform into his late 30s.

Everyone else can pretty much **** off . I wish we could bring back Voynov. If that little white kid can rape someone and do 6 months because it will ruin his life then let Voynov come back since his wife still married to him. Voynov was our 1B dman
 
And there was the first shot on goal in the 2nd, near the midway point of the game.

Sutter said he'd like to see more shots, and the Kings have 8 total in about 30 mins.
 
Gilbert has looked like garbage so far. Forbort has looked pretty solid. McNabb is playing with his classic slow impatience.
