I get the ebbs and flows of a game but there is a ton to clean up from this one.

Reeks of not taking your opponent seriously. They dominated, let them back in, dominated some more, and let the foot off the gas again. Way to sloppy for my liking despite being mostly good through 50.

only things I'd add are that

even though he let in 5, Gibson kept the ducks from letting in more than that to that point
It's October, and things tend to be looser
The ducks have done this already this season. Seattle owned them in Game 1 but lost in OT

Unless I'm reading that wrong but 2.5-3 gpg is below average in today's NHL.

I was just thinking Shesty was close to 2gpg last year, so even a drop off woldn't be huge with this offense.
