Also, the game changed when Trouba came back. It's not nec all him, but his presence is such a stabilizing force. He is the rock that calms the very young D corps down. It just allows them all to play to their strengths when he's taking his reg shift.

He's been dependable, he's always hard on pucks, tracking back defensively. He has his limitations but so far he's been a positive force. Made a great pass to Blais from behind the net.

Embarrassingly, this is the first full game I've gotten to watch since pre-season.
Biggest takeaway is that they're playing like a team who knows they're good.
(including the gaffs, but that's not unique)

I don't get this. Goodrow is a perfect 3/4L player who can float up in the lineup if needed.

We will need the money for extensions, no other reason than that. And some people’s solution has been that we aren’t gonna resign Chytil (or god forbid, Kakko).
