There should be a rule about the ice of an arena having 24 hours to "rest" or whatever you want to call it after anything else happens in an arena. Especially in an area that does not have any winter.

The Staples Center crew must do a good job with two NBA teams, a NHL team and various concerts and other events.

They really need to figure out a better way to protect ice when it's covered up for other events.
