Unpopular opinion--I really like the blues and love their game and I'm excited to see them with their changes. Also excited to see if we can get up for and match up with another elite team. Wonder if the same rivalry/hate on-ice will be there with the roster turnover (no polak, sobotka, stewart...etc.).

I mean we are basically a less talented Kings. Or a Kings minus a goalie.

And we defnitely let some hitters go in exchange for skill guys.

I don't think we ever win at Staples Center but good luck anyways. No injuries.

Yeah, the Blues are probably going to come in with a chip on their shoulder. A revamped lineup. Trying to get passed the Kings and Hawks. The Kings have to match what the Blues will most likely bring, or else it'll be another Sharks or Coyotes game.

I'm worried tonight about the shock from playing the Oilers last game to an NHL team this game. Hope they guys are ready for some actual competition.

Yeah now that the playoff brackets were redone I don't hate the Blues all that much any more, as it is unlikely the Kings have to play them in the post season. I also want to thank the Blues for beating the crap out of the Hawks last year!

Tip of the hat sir. As a Blues fan, I hate the Hawks, I am starting to really dislike Colorado and Minnesota, and I don't care for the Sharks much. The Kings though I view more as a "rival", or really due to our troubles with you, a goal. I respect your team, and commonly root for them against teams I like less.

Really, if my team finally makes the jump to get to the promise land, it would feel incomplete without going against you guys.... Until we would actually win, then I wouldn't care.

Anyway, here's to a healthy game with no injuries.

I don't hate the Blues, I feel like it is a good rivalry. If the Kings don't win the cup this year, I would pull for the Blues to finally knock out those freakin Hawks and win it all.
