Bleh. Couldn't get anything going all night.

When Bergy's back, put Backes with Krejci - give DK some linemates that can actually be effective.

Rough go for Dobby. Two of four should definitely of been had.

But all in all, there needs to be more than one line that can score.

totally shut down hockey legend Auston Matthews, was a successful night, good game guys.

Carlo and O'Gara have really impressed me so far. Another good game by both of them, O'Gara I think has played a good smart and simple game and moves the puck well, covered Krugs mistakes a few times too.

Carlo looks ready for me, will be a major learning year for him, but he doesn't look out of place to me, so smooth.

Pasta looks great.

4th line looks so much better than last few seasons, Nash and Moore both seem to be great PKers too.

That's about all I got for good.

we got in a hole with some soft goals, C.Miller looks like Wideman minus all of Wideman's pros.

He just doesn't look strong enough and that Liles-Miller pairing just doesnt work, not strong enough along the boards, VERY poor net front presence, can't clear the front of the net...just not a good pairing. Also C.Millers decision making...so bad, I'm not sure he has the hockey IQ to make it, gotta work on thinking the game at that higher pace of NHL.

Maybe let Morrow step in and see what happens?

Krejci and Krug both look rusty, not too surprising after off season surgeries where both weren't guarantees to be back on time.

Krejci needs a winger. Backes going back to him will help out a lot in my eyes.

Heinen you don't notice anything flashy, but he doesn't make a lot of mistakes and some nice small plays. Very Loui in that regard and will probably end up getting blasted for being 'invisible'

Czarnik struggling in the dot, Nash may need to become the 3rd line center if this keeps up. His play outside of faceoffs is okay.

Another error by Carlo, learned from it though the second time he got Marner one on one. Mistakes are fine, repeating mistakes are not.

Pastrnak continues to look good and is gelling with Marchand.

Toronto made sure Marchand wasn't going to beat them.

Looks like something may have actually happened to Rask when he reacted slowly after making a save, regardless of him finishing that game. Not good if it becomes a longer issue.

PK was excellent, 1st PP unit is very bad without Bergeron. 2nd PP unit should start next game.

New 4th line is showing to be a big upgrade over last year.

Hayes still not the worst Bruin on the ice, even for the amount of **** he'll continue to receive.

Bergeron is very, very important to this team.

Heinen, Krejci and Spooner need to be split up asap. I'm all for PMD's, but I think we have one too many atm. They were getting pressured and pushed around quite a bit.

No Bergeron was obvious tonight, especially with low key krejci. Often without the puck, made their defense look good.

Carlo and O'gara were good without the shivers they had opening night, were also paired late game.

Czarnik and Krej need new linemates.

Slow game, onto the next one.

Get Bergy back , call up DeBrusk , waive Hayes , send czarnik down to work on face offs for a year.

Lines 1 and 4 are good. Middle six just don't click with each other.

Chara stepped up for Krug when Hayes refused to do a thing so that was encouraging.

Krug and Krejci looked pretty bad. They need to get well soon. Chiller had a bad game. Liles should sit when McQuaid comes back and let Ogara play the left side.

I'd go

39-46-27
51-42-43

When Bergeron back.

I wonder if Krejci is upset that he gets a 3rd line center and an okay rookie on his line.

He's made comments before and I'm wondering if it's getting to him. Either that or he's just still recovering from his injury.

I've been impressed with Moore so far. He was one of the best Bruins on the ice tonight. Solid pickup.

He complains to much for a 7 million dollar player :)

He looks hurt still. Somehow is slower than ever.

Colin Miller looked like a Dman straight out of Juniors. Very disappointing.

No speed because they can't pass. Pasta must have thrown 4 "passes" to unknown receivers. Same with Krug. Whole team just terrible trying to connect going forward.

After 2 games, 3 lines that appear to be no threat to score.

Hayes had noticeably less ice time tonight than any other Bruin. Only 9 mins and change. Everyone else was in double digits. Claude had things fairly evenly balanced. Hayes is trying. I hope the Bs are able to move him. He's just not working out here.

If Sweeney , cam , and clode are dumb enough to make that a reason to keep him on the roster then they will all be canned for missing the playoffs yet again.

:shakehead

So they protect 7 forwards (Krejci, Bergeron, Marchand, Pastrnak, Backes, Spooner, X)
Players with 2 years or under of experience will be exempt (Czarnik, Acciari, Vatrano, Heinen)
2 Forwards must be exposed who are under contract and have played 70 games over 2 years or 40 games this year without a NMC
Moore will be a UFA so he's out, that leaves 3 names currently. Riley Nash, Matt Beleskey, Jimmy Hayes. This is why Riley Nash got a 2 year deal.

If the Bs are to make the playoffs we have to be better than the Leafs.
Worried about goal tending, 2 games in a row, 2 different goalies, 6 goals.
Not really the Defense because we are outshooting our opponents.

You nailed it, this is the elephant in the room and the play of Beleskey and Hayes. Khobodin made it easy for the Leafs. Lot of new faces and not much chemistry out there. Going be a long year, will get better when we are healthier. Now we see how other teams improved.

Thats good news because I will not shed a single tear if beleskey or hayes get taken. Those two have brought nothing so far. I like nash though a tad

Chara hits and fight were noteworthy. Good to see.

Overall not a good game for the team.

Pasta is going to be very good.

We need at least one of Miller, McQuaid, or Randell in vs teams like Toronto.

Its only game 2, let the year play out, get healthy. Get some chemistry and weed out whoever does not cut it and trade for a damm deeman. I like the 2 kids on dee all year they can cut it. I mean we have Krug do we need Liles, looks to me like one of K.Miller/McQuaid go and one of Colin or Morrow. Balance it out Z will not last the whole year like this. We desperately need a top tier deeman near his prime now.
I would really like Chara with - one of Lindholm, Trouba, Fowler(probably him)
Krug, Carlo
K. Miller, O'Gara
learn the other side if the Left/Right thing is off, like Seids did we need this too work, Morrow or Colin extra which ever one stays
