He should be "learning" pro hockey at the AHL level. He's 24 already so the learning curve isn't too open-ended here.

First pro-season after attending an Ivy league school, he and pretty much everyone else from that background need seasoning in the AHL.

I've been saying it a long time about Rask. Frankly I'm tired of his attitude. He needs to take the game seriously. Last year, it seems to me that because he could blame the defense, he could literally give up on games or not play 60 minutes. Tired of seeing him suck in big games or not play, such as game 82 where we missed the playoffs.

It's management that gave him that ridiculously long term, overpaid contract that made us pass on a guy like Martin Jones. Rask needs to be motivated to play with shorter-term contracts.

I watched him give up softies all last year. I don't want to see another year of his crap. Put the best goaltender in the net.

If Jack and Brick keep talking about the aggressive d play in the neutral zone and how the d keeps stepping up quickly, I may have to shoot myself in the face. They're not. They look fine, but what's happening on the ice doesn't match what Jack is saying.

There's no player I'm rooting for more than him. Guy takes way more abuse than he deserves.

What's funny is that Hayes actually looks engaged and played well on the shifts he's been out there. Was a one man fore-check his last shift.

Actually one of the times was when they showed a replay of O'Gara and he was absolutely doing what they said, and he did break up the zone entry, but it was a pretty dangerous play and not one I'm sure I want a rookie making a lot. Yeah you take away time and space but man, if they get by you..... there's nobody back on that side.

The Krejci line is making the same cuts breaking out/neutral zone. Henien and Krejci bumped a few times then Spoons and Krejci did there at Center ice

That's the trade off. You gamble on a play like that and make it, you look great. You miss, and the other team has a great scoring chance. And it's not that nobody has done it, but rather that Jack and Brick are saying it every time the play is in the neutral zone...

Bad penalty to take.

Time to see what the PK is going to look like.

With regards to the score bug and ticker, hasn't technology evolved to the point where all of these on screen graphics can be customizable? Give me the option of increasing/decreasing the size or getting rid of it altogether with the push of a button.
