The expectation is so high that every goal is a "he should have stopped that. He usually gets those", and every rebound is "Shesty a little off".How is he not sharp?

I am very worried about it and it’s reasonable to be. If Kakko and LaF were on the Devils we’d be shitting on them. But the fact that their ours, we’re willing to give them leeway. They’ve been complete embarrassments to this point.I'm not going to start worrying until the trade deadline this season. If Lafreniere and Kakko come out slow out of the gate after a two week Olympic break, then I think Drury and Co need to have some honest and hard discussions about how to proceed over the summer. But now? Not worried one bit.
McKinnon had 38 points in his 2nd season, Joe Thornton had 41 points. It's not hopeless yet. What have I said that was wrong? LaF has legit been one of the worst 1st overalls in history.

It's hard to believe but hockey Gallant is actually worse than under Quinn
There's a lot of Lafrenière trashing (and a lot of it valid), but it's almost exclusively from fan bases or media outlets that get hot from seeing the Rangers fail. It's a shame when it originates from our own fan base.?? haha ok, you're right everyone sucks
They'll be rioting in the streets soon.vancouver whines when they take a legit penalty despite getting 6 PPs
MacKinnon had 38 points in 64 games. Thornton’s 41 points are likely more than LaF or Kakko will score this season. Neither Mack or Thornton had a player as good as Zib or Panarin to play withMcKinnon had 38 points in his 2nd season, Joe Thornton had 41 points. It's not hopeless yet.
I’m not worried either. It’s just frustrating, these kids should be dominating. Maybe it’s Galants system? Even Panarin hasn’t looked that great so far, although he’s been producingI'm not going to start worrying until the trade deadline this season.
