We don't know the formal lines yet. However, we can all be pretty confident that Andersson is gonna end up centering the fourth one. Probably with Kegger and Smith.

Lindgren recall is so interesting and I am curious to see his evolution at this point. I will be quite irked if LH is sitting tonight for him. Am this point I would rather see BS sit for a game than anyone else on the backend.

I mean I’ve never been the biggest fan but this is crazy. How is <10 min with Smith and Haley the best thing for his development? Are we that committed to making sure he never learns how to score?

Charitably I'd say the idea is to get him NHL minutes and earn his way up the lineup because they feel he can do that but has things he needs to work on (Quinn mentioned playing fast from event to event, etc)

I guess that is one explanation. Still would wonder why he is up still though, if the plan is to give Howden this much slack.

This is...not how I remember it. I would be surprised if the organization didn’t have higher expectations when taking him 7th. And read many ROR, Bergeron, Drury comparables on this board, TSN, and elsewhere.

Quinn thinks this is EHM, in which practicing with the big club improves player attributes, but poor game ratings hurts development. Makes total sense if you think your career is a video game.
