Gorton isn't emotional in his decision making. He isn't going to make a rash decision based on the play of 9-10 games.

If this skid happened in the middle of the season (which most every team goes through if not once, but a few times) no one would be talking about it, but because it happened at the start of the season when expectations are high, it's magnified.

I think if anything, the losing trend would have to continue for at least another 8-10 games, then it would happen.

It wasn't a puck handling mistake, he didn't even have a chance to play the puck before Couture got there and stripped him.

Our D has to be either behind him or in front and communicate so he has someone to pass too.

Knicks fans haven’t had a reason in many years to expect any amount of major success. Rangers and Mets have had pieces to warrant a real run.

I remember everyone saying on these boards back in 2014 that we' be back in the SCF again with the core we had despite many , including me , saying that it's not likely with the way the organization has had success historically. I said it took us 20 years just to get back to the finals. I said hank was getting older along with other members of the core team and it's not like we have the luxury of other NHL teams ( looking at you Pittsburgh )

Our window was 2014 and we blew it. This organization isn't winning anything or getting close to winning anything anytime soon again. Vigneault needs to go. Let the full rebuilding commence .
