i really don't find him to be much of a fighter given his size really. Id put Smith against him fairly confidently. Lemieux is the only guy currently on the roster though that might engage him, maybe Trouba but i don't see that in his nature,not sure if Bitteto is tough or not. If he wants to start taking runs then we gonna have to take some runs ourselves.

I think this is the biggest game of the season thus far.

Forget it being a "test". We know the Caps are going to be up in the division in the end unless they get decimated by injuries. We know what the Rangers are at this point.

It's more about the timing.

Some extra practice time, coming off an emotional win.
Going back to Igor after his first real solid outing.
Tougher opponents ahead who have been feasting on the bottom half of the division.
Finally getting over the hump against Pitt and closing out a lead.
All the teams they are chasing are off.

Stringing two wins together, at home and getting to within a point of the cut line would bring the morale up in the room big time.

Martin did either game 1 or 2 and Laf looked like a vet absorbing the hit and protecting the puck. Wilson is a predator...I mean opportunist.

He may take a run at Miller but Miller is roughly the same size and Trouba would be enough of a deterrent. Wilson guys after guys that wont or cant put up a fight.

Even though Hank's out, I figured this would be a good night to drop that one.
 
Our usual suspects have really not taken a lot of bad penalties this year, ie Lemieux, Strome, Smith. Have we matured or are the refs off their backs?

The record will show that Laf scored his first goal the night after I let my phone battery go to 13%.

I'll try and help Kakko out. But then again, I've randomly looked at my phone and gotten 74% a lot lately, and you know what happened to Kravtsov.
 
Well, my phone is at 100% so I can watch the game on by break at work, without the phone dying on me right before the KK goal!
