I just figured out why @Sandisfan likes everything here. There's time stamps on his likes and those could be suitable for alibi purposes!! :sarcasm:

Officer Dwyer: Where were you on the night of June 1st 2023 Mr. Fan? If that is your real name.

Sandisfan: I was busy liking posts online on HF, I couldn't possibly have been the one injecting water into all the non-Sharks NHL draft lotto balls, officer.

Officer Dwyer: That checks out, Mr. Fan. We'll be in touch if we have any more questions for you. Don't leave town.

I've seen a couple flashes through my windows, followed almost immediately by what sounds like banging trash cans, rather than the rumble of thunder that I'm used to (I do not believe I've ever been closer to a thunderstorm than a few miles, and the flash-bang lag is just under a second) so I'm not sure if I'm seeing lightning or maybe idiots doing dumb things with their cars.

I feel it's about 50-50 my whole area gets cut off from the rest of the world (by road anyway) due to flooding. Last time this threatened was in January.

First saw him in The Wire, so I'll always think of his portrayal of Lt. Daniels

Crazy California weather. Condolences to the families and friends of those who died.

Had Five Guys for the first time in years today. Still good stuff, but $10.50 for a fast-food hamburger is pretty pricey.
Also might've been the last time I step into Tanforan depending on when that place officially closes. Man that mall is barren.

Its insane how popular they are. I never realized it until I saw one on main streets in every european city.

I was in Tanforan a few months ago because of the opening of the Japanese internment memorial (my grandmother and her whole family are on it) and yeah… the mall is pretty depressing these days.

I haven't been to Tanforan in probably a decade+. Used to live in San Bruno off 280 so used to go somewhat often but that was forever ago. Unfortunately most malls aren't doing so well, for obvious reasons.

I could be wrong since I haven’t been there in ages but isn’t the great mall all the way in Milpitas still doing ok? I think the same with Valley Fair in San Jose near the mystery house.
