I wouldn't say it blows, but it's showing signs of the past couple years teams that struggled to score on nights where they actually defended well.

Well today they looked much better than in the last 2 games, it's just that one goalie saved everything and the other allowed a goal that not every Zamboni driver would allow, that's the difference

The team is certainly far better than the last two seasons, and as long as they start playing like the team that was 8-2 in December until the Montreal game, they'll be fine. Not even at the halfway point, and 3 straight losses means shit. They do need to stop this kind of play sooner rather than later though

Kings are no joke at home and I thought we outplayed them except for goaltending. Save the pessimism for if we lose tomorrow, this isn’t a game you should over react to.

Again, a goal from depth pieces in the lineup would be nice. Nights where the top line are defended tight means others have to step up. Just tired of very little contribution from the bottom six. With that said, I thought Chaffee had a strong game but would like to see him string together shifts and games where he plays with confidence. Eyssimont is such an enigma, he's sneaky and capable of having a scoring touch but he's gone dry for a spell too while at least having bite to his game. The bottom six is such a patch job, where nobody plays well together other than "defend like blazes until 86 can get back on the ice."

Cooper should've saved that first shot. His RC goalie control batteries must've died on that first shot.
