Vlasic's best game in a while. I also liked the play of Kaiser, Allan and Crevier in this game. It was a good team win against a Hab team that was rolling coming in to Chicago.

Old Vet night ..Foligno Marroun (even tough Maroun stunk except for his goal.. SLOW...hemmed in own zone toomuch..but came through at net in close onscrimwhen it was needed..still 1 goid deed does not excuse ineffectiveness getting pucks out on ling pisession time for oppsvin our d-zone).

Finally.. gottacmemtion Soda..was terrific this night.. 2ndGA not hiscfaukt ..lucky bounce kff backboard swatted in...Montreal lucky on that one).

Also ..at no tine did we ever think Hawks woukd get an en goal at the end.. just too slow ...with some of the players they hadvoutvthere including Foligno.
Otger teamsvin reverse situations when Hawks have pulled our goalie for the extra man of course get to loose pucks and put the puck in our open net...We are what we are..a bunch of slow vets ...and kids Not producing.

Did not see Bedard's geberational shot ..hisshots looked below average tonight..

Neither Bedard or Nazar are driving lines...

We won...BUT..not a good development when yutes do not produce and you have to rely on vets and even old vets to cone through and win a game for a change.

Hell of a debut despite the lack of points. The best showing out of any of the prospects who've been up this season.

Need to keep it up vs. NY on Sunday - they've been playing like crap and are in Washington for a noon game tomorrow.

I wouldn't call him overipened.

It's not like he was ready for a call up last year.

Didn't watch the game but I can't imagine not being happy with Maroon or Smith. Those two with Reichel have been far and away our most consistent NHL caliber line. It's the only combination I'd comfortably say has been good for what you're asking a line to be.

We have a good fourth line. How f***ing sad is that?

Exactly..... also he didn't get smoked and was a factor in a solid team win. Excellent debut for Dach. Hopefully, he keeps it up and is here to stay. (he is guaranteed to have interest from other teams but no thank-you)
