They have squandered all those games in hand they had. Only one behind FLA and TOR (4 and 7 points behind) and now tied in games with MTL, OTT, only behind us by 3 points. There is 0 breathing room

Between the Hedman chance the Cirelli one, you might think they threw this game. Very winnable game just handed to Detroit. ugh. I don't know how this team can be so terrible offensively. Defensively, sure. That sprouts its ugly head every now and then, but it's so painful to watch this team struggle offensively

4 games this week were back to back on the road. Nhl not nice to us. Hopefully coming home they get a streak going.

Lol, yes, the team they waxed 5-1 a week ago and would've still beaten tonight if their net minder didn't stand on his head and Tampa miss two wide open nets is "better"......

Hedman has f***ed up more plays with the puck on his stick this past month or so than anyone I can recall in recent memory. We are missing Sergachev plain and simple, TB probably finds a way to win that game with 98. Not getting into the trade itself, but wow 77 just doesn't have it these days.
Regardless, it's a b2b towards the end of a grueling month. Had two point blank chances and didn't shoot the puck, instead making moronic extra passes. Those are the ones you need to give yourself a chance on in tight games. Oh well, they were in this game until the end.
And that's a trash play by a frustrated Kucherov at the end, no way around it. Lucky to be playing Detroit in that scenario, other teams may have sent a message after something like that.

Lots to complain about, but on the bright side, this was the last day of the brutal January schedule. Two days off and we get to start a 5 game home stand against Chicago. 8 of our next 10 are at home.
