I'm sorry I don't agree that they played a good game at all.

Coasted half the ****ing game passing the puck to no one. Once Steen scored that (awful) goal, their confidence was shot for 30 straight minutes. I'm floored that they managed 30 shots.

The Rangers didn't coast. The effort was fine. It was a cerebral game where the blues completely took over the neutral zone. The Rangers are a transitional team and blues stemmed them. End of story.

Blues are a better team. Rangers have too inconsistent of a roster to skate with them.

As per usual, GDT made the game sound worse than it actually was.

Solid game against a very good team. This one doesn't sting as much if they could've beaten the ****ing Isles.

Nice to see what a team with a real GM, a real scouting staff, a real development system, a real coach, a real defense, and a real captain look like. Rangers are totally outclassed in every aspect of this game against a team that is superior in every way. Half the Rangers lineup doesn't even crack this Blues roster.

I only see you when the team is trailing or after losses.

Ugh. Played ok. No sustained pressure at the end and bad pp fail.

Give up only 2 at home should be enough but score only 1 and won't win many. Anywhere. Same ole same ole

Still need more talent up front. Too many plumbers.

St Lou is loaded up front. Drool.

I really do hope that both Girardi and Callahan are sent packing at the trade deadline. I do not want to give either of these guys extensions.

Given the mental weakness of this team, expect these two losses to tailspin into yet another losing streak.

Agreed. This makes the loss to Isles even worse. This game was pretty much expected to be a loss.

I guess effort's not the right word, per se, but these ****ing idiots couldn't complete a three foot pass tonight if their lives depended on it. They wilted and died at the sight of one forechecker. Everytime someone entered the path of one of our players they threw the puck away to no one.

I guess you can call this "getting absolutely owned mentally by a far superior team".

Rangers didnt play bad. Blues defense played great and they just got teh good bounce tonight. Rangers will be fine

They played with incredibly low confidence, then.

There were like maybe 5 passes completed tonight.

I wonder why some of you even 'cheer' for this team.
If you don't like them, there's 29 others to support
Our fanbase is pretty whiny. Imagine what is was like before 1994  I was only 8 at the time but it was probably worse the most posts here which is saying something

Great acting job by Shattenkirk on that slash. Man idk how his arm stayed intact with how much pain he seemed to be in. Then to score 9 seconds later? He must be a bionic man.

Seriously, he acted like his arm got broken off. The replay showed it was barely a love tap, they type of slash that happens 100 times in a game, and 99 times is let go. Of course he scores on the ensuing pp.

Sucks that we're going into the Stadium Series on a 2 game losing streak. Would've been nice to ride into those games with a boat load of confidence. Not to mention throwing away points the last 2 games when everyone else in the division is winning consistently.

Just an observation here but I'm not a fan of John Moore at all. Every time he gets the puck he tries to skate through the whole other team, and someone needs to tell him, he's never going to be able to do it. The kid gets tunnel vision every time he gets the puck, it's very frustrating to watch. He misses guys breaking all the time because he wants to skate it up himself, to ultimately lose the puck.

True but the blues defense was all over them. They should have been a bit smart but the effort was there. Its not like we lost 3-0. It really came down to a good bounce for st.louis

Would absolutely hate to play these guys in a playoff series. Jesus.
