Nahh im just getting ****ing tired of all the blame on Olsen...

Fine Huby had like 3 guys on him, But dont MAKE* a cross pass there just get it out......

Olsen deserves criticism. More often than not, Olsen is caught pinching at bad times, and as a result chasing the opposition puck carrier back into the defensive zone. That's not really the best way to play defense. He's definitely the weak link on that pairing.

If he's not pinching, he inexplicably chases the puck around the net, showing no awareness to what is going on around him. If he did show awareness, he would have realized Gudbranson was pressuring the puck holder, and he was the only one covering the slot.

Both were at fault for the goal - Olsen and Hubs.

This game is going exactly how I thought it would. :(

I think the next goal will be the deciding one.

Im not saying that Olsen was good on the play.

Im just getting mad that people act like it was all Olsen on that play when Huby had a good chance to clear just before.

he's second to every puck and is scared to play with any physical edge. i remember a sequence along the boards where he just stod besides and watched and also when buff who was carrying the puck up the ice and hubey just skated by him. he didn't even try to poke

I agree on the fear thing. He's one of those players who performs better when he isn't getting too cerebral. Even though he didn't score in the Edmonton game, he played simple and one more puck battles than he lost. Should have had an assist or two if Pirri could finish.

I agree that Huberdeau should have done a better job to clear the puck, especially with three opposition players around him. Just flip it up and out.

So far, the whole team is at fault. why? you set the tone as a team. They came out scared, and that's the tone they set.

The only players that played with any sort of gusto have been the hood rats, Bergenheim, Mitchell, and Maybe, MAYBE Gudbranson, and even him I saw run from board play.

If the team is gonna come out like that again, just play the players mentioned above. If they wanna play scared, they can go kick rocks.

Jimmy Hayes with a dumb backhanded pass leads to pressure from the Jets.

Did our team take hockey lessons from Kris Versteeg this morning?
