1/11/25 6pm Oilers @ Hawks CHSN

Yeah I stopped reading after the second sentence.

Obviously he’s developing. He’s 22 years old and has played 38 NHL games.

The real question is he in a spot to better develop in the AHL or NHL. Earlier the season and even recently I’d have said AHL, after last night and his more recent performance I’d now flip that and say he’s earned more NHL time with anyone other than Brodie as his partner. I think he and Vlasic might be finding something as a pairing.
Actually 23, and will be turning 24 this year.

Has played 100+ AHL games by now, so definitely just needs reps in the NHL at this point.

I will say, to Sorensen's credit, Crevier really wasn't on anyone's radar but he's been the one developing him over the years and obviously sees something there.

Keep him with Vlasic, and see where it goes. At the very least it keeps Vlasic from having to carry the deteriorating corpses of Jones, Murphy, and Brodie.

Ah, you’re right. Mixed him up with Kaiser who is 22.

And I agree in regards to pairings. Crevier being paired with Vlasic instead of those bums will also give us a better gauge if there is anything there or not. Best to figure that out now just in case say Lev is ready next year, or Schaefer, etc.

It feels it was somewhat recently Vlasic/Crevier got paired together but I could be wrong.
