Don't be such a Karen. Nobody yelled at you. And then you made some dumb ass comment comparing his skating not being like McDavid.

Kaiser has sucked tonight. No doubt. He has plenty of company. His previous games since being recalled were fine. You didn't bitch about him during those games.

The McDavid comment was hyperbolic. I figured that much was obvious but I guess not.

Kaiser has sucked most nights but yes he had a good game or two lately, but like 95% games he’s awful.

But here we go to the defense of Kaiser again already.

I’m actually almost positive I even complimented Kaiser lately on his better play, but I still don’t think he’s anywhere near being a regular NHLer nor have the talent to be a good one.
 
Score was flattering to the Hawks ..They deserved worse for this terrible effort.
Thanks to late 2 goals by TT...too little..too late and then the inevitable en goal for a detroit.

Hawks mustered only 15 shots on goal...so ona noght when Mrazek gave up 4 goals for an.852 save% the Detroit goaliexwas only .800..but because Hawks no stars muster only 15shots on goal you could say Hawks had had better goaltending.

Anyway ..Bedard just 1 shot on goal..
GOT his 1 assist 1st so then he had enough ...and retired for the night...ugh!
NAZAR just 1 shot on goal ..at least he finished +1

Kaiser amazingly finished at zero for a guy who stunk all night.

Vlasic had one of his worst games...hardly engaged on his checks..caught outbof position.. almost disinterested compete level..weird
..just did not look normal..on for 2 ES goals against so -2 and on forca pk goal against..not his normal focused game.

Hawks very sloppy team this night ..23 give-aways ..3 by Maroun .. 3 by Bertuzzi.. 3 by Brodie and several with 2. Including Dickinson and Crevier.,$9.5 and Foligno and some with just 1 but 23 give -aways....23 sloppy give-aways ...just garbage..

Bedard had no give-aways..but obviously after his assist he wanted no part of handling the puck.. retiredctobtge Coubtry Club to work on hos tv commercials., so why bother even handling the puck.? AND Bedard sitting 4 minutes the p-box did not help the team either.

That Donato had almost half the Hawks shots on goal 7/15 says a lot about thevtoo many passengers and non-tryers or can't do -its or will not do -its..

Garbage game by the Hawks en masse..the final score was too flattering to the Hawks .

I didn't do it until after this game since Bedard has been hot lately and I was curious about what the concern was about Bedard's early career performance compared to other recent stars so I looked into it. I was surprised that Bedard is doing quite well comparatively speaking. Compared to the others he played a full season at 18 unlike them, and he is exceeding their outputs when viewed from an age perspective. I hope he gets on a ppg pace to finish the season.

Ya think he needs an above league average first line partner to put up 100 points, or do you think he'll make it happen even with the trash he's iced with?

I really liked the pass he made to Donato. He does that on a consistent basis he'll be even more of a scoring machine.

No ill will to him but I remember him getting knocked off his skates a lot and ragdolled so I think he was extremely lucky to be iced with CB and take advantage off it (if you ignore the swiss cheese defense). Every so often when reviewing player's career stats you see an NHLer have an aberrational season and then fall back to mediocrity.
 
is it really effort or is he that lost out there? I’m not so sure. Looks like he was puck watching. I don’t think that’s effort that’s just brainless.
 
The eye test is pretty evident on most nights that this roster is at least 2-3 seasons of rebuild away from any serious notions of contention. It's pretty maddening to see all 4 lines together with the D get constantly:
- Outworked
- Outskated
- Outhustled
- Outshot
And a plethora of other things. But it is what it is.

Especially when you're coming off having sat so many games recently too.
 
Wonder who loses by more tonight the Blackhawks or the Texans.

Soda likely in net, who gave up 6 in his last game and looked mostly terrible. Second game of a back-to-back and the Hawks had to travel. Hawks only managed 15 SOG last night and 7 of those were from Donato. Edmonton has allowed the 3rd fewest SOG in the league.

Naturally the Blackhawks will probably win this one 2-1 in a close one.
