I hope Reaves and Wilson fight at puck drop and then after that, the game is just a hard fought physical one where the shenanigans are kept to a minimum. I love the scrums after the whistle and everything but the last thing i want to see is guys taking cheap shots and making it a sideshow.

Handle the business, get a win and move on.

At first I was hoping for a line brawl or Reaves to straight go after Wilson at puck drop...

But I think it would set a much more meaningful tone if we straight throttle them physically and force them to fight us in response. That would really turn the page on the "we are soft" label other teams had on us.

Don’t forget our toughest players last season were all injured the last time we met them. Kreider, Trouba & Lindgren were all out. We’re a closeknit group and I’m sure they were pissed seeing what happened to Panarin & Buch too

to me someone fights Wilson but that's probably it.

I understand this is a much more, um, rude lineup than we've had in the past but I just don't see it. this isn't based off anything, just me guessing

big thing for me is a lot of our meaner players are not only new, but from western teams that have no real relationship with the Caps sans Goodrow and Reaves going out of his way to violate Wilson when they play.
