Howden looks like he belongs. Fast should stay above the 4th line.

Fast has skill, motor and effort. No way is he a 4th line player. very good third liner at worst

What's the temperature of this board? Are we allowed to kinda be rooting for a bottom-5 finish so we can get another elite talent?

I want to watch good hockey, I hate the prospect of seeing losing every night, but at the end of the day, this team is still a couple long term pieces short. Feel like tank it up, get Kaako or somebody in the draft, sign Panarin, then you can close the door on the talent acquisition portion of the rebuild, and start really developing them at that point.

We need a franchise player in the worst way. A bottom five finish is our best chance at obtaining one. Gordie and Gorton just can't screw up the pick.
