I work almost exclusively with Python (I assume you do Python or C++ or C#?), with (unfortunately) some VBA here or there, and explaining how some things in Python work to Matlab people (most of the senior staff) is always a gas.

I feel your pain mate. My background is in math and engineering ... so my CS is mostly self-taught ... but when people who don’t know what they’re doing start to program ... good god.
