Idk what any of that is, but I can relate. I’m a software developer at a hedge fund and idk wtf has been going on the 4 years I’ve been working here.

Oh. Thought you were a finance guy haha. But I feel your pain there too. I work almost exclusively with Python (I assume you do Python or C++ or C#?), with (unfortunately) some VBA here or there, and explaining how some things in Python work to Matlab people (most of the senior staff) is always a gas.
