Semin wasn't great but I didn't think he was that bad for the Habs to give up on him after only 9 games. He'll eventually get another shot. What he does with it when he does is up to him.

No disrespect to Smith Pelly. Happy he is getting a shot on the 2nd line.
But I still believe Semin will become an important part of this time.
I am impatient for that to happen!

I just want the Pleks and Galchenyuk lines to wake up and provide some offense tonight. They haven't been good lately 5 on 5.

Also I really hope Halak doesn't get a shutout tonight just to avoid the ensuing Halak vs Price crap popping up again.

I misread JF Chaumont's recent quote:

So, he was benched as of the 9th game last year, having played 8. With the Habs, played 10.

I'm actually surprised that semin has been benched for so long. I'd have expected that the decision to pick him up was made by at least both Mb and Mt. Maybe there's more than meets the eye.
