The FES line has been mediocre all year. No reason Ennis should have 2x as many minutes as Grigs, give the kid a freaking chance to produce, not like Ennis is doing anything but jack ****.

This reminds me of the sabres from the middle of last year. God i hope we don't see a string of games like the month of January that year. It was the most uninspiring hockey i have ever seen.

FES not getting chances. Not liking Foligno not working very hard out there -- kid can't think he's safe since he's still waiver exempt and they have a roster move to come.

I've hated Ennis lately. He tries being too cute with the puck. He's sucked so far this season

Well, they don't have the injury excuse to fall back on...hopefully they don't use the shortened season as one to spare Ruff.

I have a feeling we see some changes come the third period. We really have no options at center, though.

I'd start by switching Foligno and Ott. Maybe that'll wake Foligno up a bit, and maybe Ott can get Ennis going.

I didn´t say short....I said small. Noronen was terrible at covering thhe net. He played smalll. Maybe you never watched him play just looking at his stats.:sarcasm:

I probably watched every game he played for us. I don't see the correlation. I don't think Noronen played small, he just played poorly at times.

If Grigs was indeed benched in favor of Hecht for the latter's defensive prowess, it no longer matters.

e: you get the feeling this is the game, don't you?

Hecht played on maybe two shifts in place of Grigs on that line.

Guess what? they actually created chances. Then he cetner his own linehis last few shifts and they created chances and a good scoring chance.

If you're actually suggesting throwing in the towel because of the score then force feeding Grigs minutes ..... no thanks.

Its incredible the whining over Grigs. Face it, at this point he is not at all an impact player and really looks lost. Thats fine at his age. But he is not playing anywhere near the level Hecht is and thats not even debatable. So if Hecht gets some shifts in his place so be it. This is the NHL not the AHL where you give guys minutes for development purposes.
