Anyone else think that Berglund goal should count?

Edit: On second look it was probably a good call

How the heck can they rule that a goal? I guess intentionally kicking pucks in net are legal now.

Puck deflects off side of skate into goal while player is drivin net is pretty much always good goal. It is a very consistent call they make.

Not sure why the announcer is surprised. By the standards the league has pretty consistently set, that's not a kick. I personally have always disagreed, and still do, but by their standards, just angling the skate is fine, as long as you don't make a textbook kick.

To me it's the very last tenth Of a second that makes it a kick. He seems to kind of flick his foot at it. I can go for "inconclusive" but that should mean the call on the ice stands.

As a Lightning fan I agree. This has been a very consistent call around the league for a couple of years. I wish it would have been waved off for homer reasons but I expected it to count and I'm not upset that it did.

once again a guy gets breakaway in idiot run nhl and he takes his health into his own hands by desperately diving / slashing / tripping defender that crashes him into net

only cost the attacker two minutes at great risk to breakers heallth while it also wrecks another exciting breakaway all fans want to see instead of the breaker crashed into net

Lunqdvist SO robbery again (by his own team)

No one has lost as many shutouts in the last few seconds in the history of the NHL. Not a chance.
