Myers should've skated that in instead of stopping. He had all kinds of speed and room to the outside.

Did it look like Hodgson was gassed at the end of the period to you? He didn't exactly have the same jump in his strides that he had yesterday.

Yeah, and Briere was a punk for doing it. Also

see, you are like my little brother. You said this wasn´t 1970 mocking my point and when I prove you wrong by pointing out Briere you says he was wrong and a punk.

So this isn´t 1970? He is a punk for getting even? Which one? Or wait Danny Briere is a straw man from 1970?

Grigs should get a shot on the 2nd PP unit

I could be wrong but I think tonight Vanek has been staying out with the 2nd unit in place of Foligno. He has almost a min more in PP time than Pommer, Hodgson or Ott who are the other forwards on the top PP unit.

I said it wasn't 1970 because I had the restraint to not come out and say that your perspective was archaic. The difference between an insult and an intimation. I'm not surprised you have trouble with this .

Little guys have used their stick for retribution as long as this game has been played. It's about space: making it, taking it, or defending it. It's something to think about if you might get a jab in the johnson if you hit a guy, knowing he's done things before. Reputation makes a difference.

I know this is Grigs 2nd game but I would like to see him stay up.

I think if the staff says Grigs is here to stay the fans might relax a little. We are all eager to see Grigs get some offence. It´s like watching Leino last year, fingers crossed every game.

No, Vanek just got caught out there on one of the second period PPs when someone kept it in and rest were changing.

1) Grigs play should actually earn him more time from Ruff because he's been playing defensively responsible, and that's something that you know tickles Ruff pink

2) Kaleta wasn't sending a signal to the Leafs as much as to his own bench and his own tender. Same reason Stafford went...Hartnell's not going to be afraid "oh no, bid bad Drew is gonna come after me". But those guys on the bench, and more importantly the guy in the net...they know their teammates have their back. They're building an identity as a team. And that is well worth it.
