First time during the draft I’ve ever seen the cup winning team not get congratulated even once. Is Florida the NHL’s most hated team?
It was the slowest draft in forever. Not as much hamming it up on stage, but Philly ran their draft clock out not once, not twice, but all three times they were on the clock. Tons of delays between picks. Tons of confusion. Long "trade horn" segments while Bettman got notes about trades and stammered thru them. It was painfully slow.Did the league tell teams to speed this shit up? There was a lot less yammering on stage this year. Was fantastic.
All the losers groveling at Zito’s feet. You already got a Stanley Cup. What else do you want?
If I were Minnesota's GM, I would have backed out of the trade before it was completed, and just turned in my pick after Philadelphia's clock expired. They didn’t have time due the ten minutes wasted on the Philly/Minny trade and were all in a hurry as a result.

Happened in 09, 16 and 17 IIRC.First time during the draft I’ve ever seen the cup winning team not get congratulated even once. Is Florida the NHL’s most hated team?
The first round took 4 hours, I wouldn't call that being sped up.Did the league tell teams to speed this shit up? There was a lot less yammering on stage this year. Was fantastic.
