My only guess on the goalie interference is they believe there wasn’t enough of a push by Pionk that’s literally the only thing I can think of but it still doesn’t make sense

Nah, it's because Rantanen basically moved Comrie's stick right before the goal. The fact that he was pushed into the stick or the fact that the puck went off the Jets defenseman and thus, was unlikely to have been saved anyway, doesn't matter

And that's just stuff I could find quickly.
those are cool.

Maybe the Canes ripped them off?

Or maybe they ripped off the team that’s worn it for 100 years and not the “Eskimos”

The Rangers used a wordmark in a style that was already established in hockey and broader sports design. If you wear a jersey with a single letter logo on the front, are you "ripping off" the Wanderers or whoever? No, it's just a common style that you're using, just like putting your logo inside a circle. The Canes aren't ripping anyone off, nor are the Rangers, they're both just using a lettering style that's more or less as old as hockey itself. The reason so few teams in the NHL have used it is because it was historically considered to be downmarket and cheap- printing lettering being a lot cheaper than making a complex custom crest.

It's not ripping off anyone. It's just picking an option within an established design language. Simmer down.
