Zucc to Winnipeg would be nice hopefully both for Rangers and himself. They may se themselves as contenders and therefor be willing to pay a nice price. And for Zuuc it would probably be rewarding to play for Maurice again. I believe he had a big part in giving Zuuc his confidence back after the Tortorella treatment. Of course, to skate with Malkin probably also helped...

I'm just opposed to having a dude named Lemieux on my team.

I was also opposed to drafting Yamamoto because I didn't want a "Kailer."

Names and name associations mean a disproportionate amount to me. LOL.
I agree. I am the same way. When I saw the name Emerson Etem, for example, I knew it wasn’t going to work. And when the Rangers traded him for Gropp... I was just wishing it were Propp instead. It’s not logical, I know.

He's 22 years old and a power forward. They take longer to develop. He's not a world-beater but he projects as a 3rd line who can put up 15-20g and 20-25a while being a PIA to play against and provide a physical element to his game. Is that a player who will the Art Ross? No. But it is still a useful player and it's also a somewhat unique player in today's game.
The Rangers have too many third liners already. I mean, I understand it. A third liner is still a useful piece. But I’d rather the Rangers held out for a guy with some more upside.

Interesting point about Maurice. That said, if Winnipeg doesn’t make a really deep and convincing run I suspect Maurice is gone anyhow.

Am I the only one who sees Eminger's name in the press box and thinks, "that's about right"?
