Pool: Zemgus26's 2nd Annual WJC Pool

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Wow, looks like somebody traded up in the draft order! Must be some picks for next year involved in the deal. ;)
 
Yup! Charged him his 1st round pick for the next 5 WJC drafts to move up 2 spots :naughty:. Good deal.

*Making my pick shortly...or not so shortly...I am on the road so will see if I have the chance before I get home to look it over*

Now I don't like you :sarcasm::( I kept updating the site for hours and still didn't get my guy. Now I am very very sad. :(

I guess it's my fault that I didn't take him earlier though as I said last Saturday on the Finnish team thread that is is very likely to get him. I knew he'll be gone, I just had a little bit of hope that I may have a chance. :)

Now I take another Finn instead, Ville Heinola. I think he'll surprise a lot of people if the gets a spot on the team. He is either playing in a top 4 role I think or he doesn't make the team at all. A bit of a gamble but I want to take a guy I am very high on.

@TheBeastCoast you are up.

It likely pushes my earlier pick in Laaksonen off the top PP.

Are we skipping picks yet or no? @Khabby was here and made a pick in my pool, and now has left again I guess without noticing it was his turn here too

I PMed Khabby just now to make sure he knows he is up. The clock is still at 6 hours (haven't felt the need to change it since we have had a good pace going) so he has until 10:30pm EST.

I'm thinking of not skipping for now though and just waiting for his pick. Since we have only 4 rounds left and still plenty of time assuming we do at least a round per day.

If we start going well over the time limits and/or we are slowing down in general then I will enforce the clock.
 
Oops, I changed time zone and forgot to switch the time on HF, I thought we were already over the 6 hours my bad.

Yeah, no reason to skip yet. I saw Khabby online and was getting set to make my picks as scorevat was here at the same time too.
