His value certainly at its low

Trends matter. I was very deflated with his performance for the US at the worlds. He's got skill but I think he's another soft skilled perimeter player.

Regardless of the Ducks trading him or not, I do hope he rebounds. At this stage, not even sure I'd make a Newhook/Zegras 1/1 trade. Lets see how that statement ages as this season passes.

Should be interesting to see his perceived value. I won't suggest his value because to me he's an enigma but I am curious what those that have established opinions of him think.

Yeah, they aren’t going to sell low.

Get rid of Cronin, and bring in a coach that will let Zegras and the other skilled forwards do their thing. It’s painful to watch right now.

I'm a big fan and believer of Newhook, but he's been bad so far this season. I'd make that trade, no way Ducks do though.

Newhook needs to work on his intensity. He doesn't have the IQ to float and sus out opportunities, he needs to skate and get after it. Hope he turns it around soon and he changes my opinion on a Newhook for Zegras 1 for 1.
