Did you read the Zegras stetcher thread.... people have a real irrational hatred for zegras because of his game cover. Like people took those twitter lip readers posts and ran with it to pump up hate. That thread went like 40 pages over nothing lol.

agreed. 3 games was actually a bit longer than I thought it would be given the DoPS.

But if they actually wanted to protect players' brains an east-west headshot after the puck was long gone should start at 5 games, history or not.

Rasmussen needs to man up and defend himself.

If I were him and were 6’6, both Kucherov and Zegras would have season ending surgeries by now after my retaliation.

I would love for Ras to play with any sort of edge and be tougher, but expecting him to stand up for himself after taking a headshot seems a bit much.

Zegras should get an extra 2 games tacked on for looking at the replay and then insistently yelling "No way. No way." It's one thing to throw a dumb, dangerous hit. Gudas cross checking Raymond in the back while the play went the other way.... Someone flipping a puck into Jo's dick, just to be a dick. Trouba with the punch/forearm to Burger's face. The last two I can go either way on. Gudas's cross check on Raymond was cheap as hell.
And no, I did not miss that hit. But guess what, if a team is going to play that way, and the refs won't call the game properly, then there are going to be in game consequences.

It's difficult to listen to complaints about refereeing in a game where the offended party was given three times as many powerplays. The complaints ring pretty hollow.

The zegras hit was a big miss, he should have been called, but Detroit got the benefit of the doubt for the lions share of this game.

I'll put it this way: if Anaheim was refereed the way detroit was last night, we would be absolutely ecstatic.
