that play usually happens once a game
Absolute bullshat. Being pushed in by a defender does. He wasn't [pushed in. He deliberately ran the goaltender. His trajectory wasn't affected at all by the Edmonton defender. Should have been 5 and a game, Would have been if it wasn't a Bruin.

Absolutely remarkable.

For context to others, Zadorov was apparently skating upwards of 23 mph as a 250 lb skater. A pleasure to have some big bad Bruins back at last. 98% of the roster is softer than an NCAA roster.

The response is gold. Palms up looking at the ref. No one wants to go with zads.

Genuine question for Bruins fans:

What were the fans in the arena booing so loud about? Zadorov, for running Skinner? Skinner for getting run? The refs because it was a penalty?

I can't think of a scenario that makes sense unless the fans hate Zadorov
They are booing the price of beer obviously

Didn’t look like Zadorov was trying to “run the goalie” to me. He’s just the size of a small apartment and got pushed in by Kulak.

That being said, you don’t want anyone crashing your goaltender like that, so someone should have tried to make him accountable. It’s bad business to let teams know that they’re able to run over your top goalie and not have to pay the price.

Fwiw I understand Skinner not getting up immediately. Looked like he banged his head on the post on the way down

No way Zadorov was intentionally trying to take a run at Skinner. You can see right before contact Z is trying not to full-on skate into Skinner, but physics took over. Refs made the correct call -- 2 mins.

Sounds like Zadorov apologized and Skinner accepted. Accidental collisions happen in hockey.

I understand the lack of response from Edmonton here, they're getting a PP and if Bouchard or anyone else steps up they're getting the instigator every time.

Think a 2 min penalty for GI is understandable there, but there was definitely a push from Kulak that makes it borderline. You can see that best near :21 of the video in the OP. Perhaps he is able to avoid contact there if not for that shove.

Zadorov has to be one of the best guys in the league to get you those moral victories when the scoreboard isn’t working properly

Okay there zadorov maybe get off of board and help your team not suck instead.
I mean...it looks like a push to me? Full extension. I'm not a fan of either of these teams...
