Zadorov beats the f***ing tar out of Sam Bennett

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

The highlight of a lost season. Ironically, Bennett became a villain to B's fans after his cheap shot on Marchand last year. (yes, I know, can't feel bad for Marchand with his history. I'm just stating a fact.)

That's fine, when the fight is something to celebrate. Was a non event, with almost zero punches landed and a takedown. Weeeeeee!!!

The days of Thornton, Lucic, Chara and McQuaid are long gone.
People are celebrating the fight because Bennett has been an absolute coward since the Marchand cheap shot. He's been challenged probably a dozen times since between guys like Kastelic, Frederic and Zadorov a handful of times. He finally got forced into a fight and got tagged. That's why.

This isn't just a random fight. Listen to the fans.

He was turned away and hit the back of his helmet. There was no damage. He wasn’t hurt. No repairs.

He won the fight but it’s not like
Belak/brashear, Kane/cooke, asham etc.

Even like corson/cairns. No

Wasn’t a clean punch guy goes down. He hit a bent over person in the back of the helmet.

That’s not beating the tar out of anybody. It’s winning a fight sure.

Heck Bennett domi was more of a beating.

Listen to the fans? I was simply going off the fictional thread title. My bad.

Not to mention his cowardly spotpicking a fight with Lindholm for Lindholm's first NHL fight.

Even last night 3rd man in jumps Beecher from behind to show toughness the only way he knows how aside from his standard charging hits.

Rather entertaining to see him called on his act and immediately lose all pretense of toughness until the linesmen are on Zadorov and he can safely throw his first punch of the fight.

Even more than Elias Lindholm, Bennett is a player whose next contract will be more than regretted on day 1 and a massive overpayment on reputation alone.

That title 🤣

Bennett started it, so it's okay for Zadorov to take on a much smaller guy. But it wasn't much of a fight, Bennett trying to run away and stumbled.

Again, you're wrong, but we're not surprised.

I am however surprised you didn't give Lilleberg the win in this one.

It didn't look like Bennett wanted any of Zadorov but when he crosschecked him high it was on. I'd still take Bennett on my team any day.
