Zachary Lauzon, a second-round Penguins pick in 2017, retires due to health issues
He was released by the Pens this summer with the understanding that he would come back for camp if things were improving with his health. While training for the start of the season, his symptoms returned, forcing him to retire at 20 years old.
Lauzon was part of the Ryan Reaves trade. He was selected with the pick the Pens received along with Reaves from St. Louis.
