Moser might be as great as Tampa fans say but that offensive output is terribad for a team like colombus that isn't exactly high octane to begin with. Guarantee you Geekie is a more valuable prospect than Danford or Hildeby lol. Knies might be “better” than Moser but it’s debatable and he plays a much more premium position. Losing a Norris caliber defenseman and bringing in a top 20ish winger just feels like bad business.

Teams are also welcome to not give them out. Just saying. I get they have become quite common as a way to keep AAVs down a bit but I feel like it’s just on GMs to not give these out so often. Can’t really fault players for exercising their rights.
