He played very good hockey from January to the end of the season. I’m sure if he gets a chance he’ll be ready to go.

But, if Ekholm is ready to go I wouldn’t be surprised to see them go 11-7 instead. At least for a game or two.

It would have to be Skinner. Whatever his limitations, he's a skilled veteran, who can contribute offensively.

Jones is even worse at playing D then Skinner. All he literally does is hit.

Max Jones rocked a 15.38 gf% playing just 19 games in a bottom 6 role this season. Skinner had a 50.77GF% playing all over the lineup.

He’s had one playoff game where he and the entire team played badly.

People gave up on Kapanen…look at him now.
People gave up on S. Skinner…look at him now.

Give the guy a chance, he should be extremely motivated. He certainly won’t be the sole cause if the Oilers lose a game.
