Player Discussion Zach Hyman

So if it's a grade 1 or 2 maybe he's back.

Doubtful and even id he comes back he won't be effective.....
Yeah maybe comes back part way through FLA. Could just be a stinger and they shut him down for the game but the way he dropped the stick and immediately left, I think he's gonzo. But I'm not a doc so who knows. I don't think it's his wrist

I think it's a wrist injury as well. Hopefully not a scaphoid bone or something like that, it takes several months to heal. Maybe just a sprain.

Fortunately Hyman was already playing a very effective game while already nursing what looked to be an upper body injury of some kind for the first two rounds. If he can hold a stick I imagine he’ll ask to go and still be banging bodies. That’s him.

I guess it's a chance for Skinner to show he still has some gas in the tank. Should be well-rested. Kapanen has worked his ass off since drawing into the lineup. Arvidsson tries hard, but he seems very ineffective most of the time.

Gazolla on his post game show said his insider said "not good"

Said from history, that actually means not good at all

Separated shoulder would be best case scenario, a week of rest and put a needle in it. Broken wrist likely be season ending.

Ineffective is vastly better than liability. He tried tonight and wasn’t a giveaway machine so he stays. Jeff Skinner I’m not convinced about. Noah Philip or Max Jones draws in next.

if jeff skinner doesn't know by now the things he needs to do to help this team win, then he shouldn't even dress - but he does and he will, he's been a pro too long to let the team down

Wasn't much tbh.

Only real contact looks like its on the fingers. Maybe the impact on the wrist.

Yeah watching the replay a few times on my huge tv and it didn’t look that bad. Weird play. Hopefully it’s just a tweak and he can play in a week or so.

Yes, I am not sure what's the deal with Skinner. he's a solid player. And his numbers were not even that bad, even if one expected 40-50 points instead of 30.
