One factor that the advanced stats can and will never measure is how much a player changes our opponents tactics. No player in the NHL falls into this category more than Jacob Trouba. The guy forces every single forward on the other team to hesitate and think twice at skating through the neutral zone. Once the opponents get into the Rangers zone, the danger becomes even higher, the puck is forced to be moved quicker. And if you think cheep defenseman can line up and hit forwards on the other team the way that Trouba does, you literally do not understand skating, lateral movement, and hockey IQ.The advanced stats say that he is.
A lot of weight training and practice and probably inner anger for not playing.he is exponentially improved these past few days from where he was in TC. holy hell it's like a different player.

Tanner Glass is inevitable. The team has likely had him on a very strict strength program as well as power skating and skills development. He’s definitely improved
Is there an NFL coach who would scratch the long snapper for an extra WR who doesnt play special teams?I wonder if there's a coach in the league that would scratch Lindgren or Trouba for Jones, long term.
If there is: hire them.
