Overall: C

middle-6 has been very good, top pairing superb, lankinen looks like a starting goalie in the league. everyone else is below average for their role

hope the second half gets our top-10 centers back to a level of playing even remotely resembling that

I'm disappointed at the low Hughes rating. His disrespect is getting ridiculous.
Since the only two ratings I'm seeing so far have Hughes rated at A+, I presume you're either joking or referring to a rating or ratings from elsewhere.

It's honestly staggering how bad Silovs has been. I think the reason he was fairly good in the playoffs is that nobody had the book on him. As soon as teams figured out that he couldn't track point shots, they just had to throw everything at the net and half of their shots went in. Hopefully this year hasn't completely destroyed his confidence.

The good part of this report is 6 of our 8 top paid players have been effected negatively by things that can be better later in the season
Defense has predictively been a mess
Middle forward group has held things together with great starts

A+ = Outstanding. A = Excellent. B = Very Good. C+ = Good
C = Average. C- = Below Average. D = Bad. F = Terrible

Silovs - F

Absolute toilet water

You know it’s bad when you know where the shooter is going to score on him on the broadcast before he does it.

You can just see it happening live, ohh so and so is gonna go stick side high guaranteed. Then boom it happens

That’s how blatantly bad his coverage is.

I've been looking for a place suitable for saying this, but I just want to single out that Pius Suter would be my pick for "Unsung Hero" this year, personally. Everyone else as good has been sung plenty.
