Speculation: your team's trade deadline needs

I think the Jets are adding a middle six forward and a defenseman at the deadline, more inclined to say 3LD than 3RD, but that could be a defenseman who is currently playing top 4.

Not sure any player off the roster is available, if anyone is it's likely Ville Heinola who could QB a PP, and get a fresh starter as a regular, but he might be kept for that position next year, given the uncertainty.

Jets might put up their 1st this year, if it's the right fit, probably with an emphasis on some term. 2nd next year could be in play too. The lowest draft position the Jets have ever started in is 60th in 2018, so it will be interesting to see if they would go into this year's draft starting potentially in the 90s. In spite of having only 4 picks last year, the Jets look to have found some potential steals in the later rounds.
 
Blues are now firmly sellers. Best piece is probably Suter who I've been pleasantly surprised with. Faksa I could also see a team wanting if they need a depth center.

I think there's a chance Fowler could be moved as well, I'd imagine we acquired him hoping to make a playoff push and obviously that didn't happen.

Those are probably the ones that will be moved for picks.

Needs would be top 6 forward. Ducks can't score. We can't trade for a better coach, so that's not a deadline thing.

Could be available for the right price-
Draft picks (including a top 2 protected 1st, currently 5th overall)
Prospects not in the NHL except Sennecke and probably Luneau and Solberg
MAYBE Zellweger (the defense is pretty loaded and he probably is the least "Verbeek" D)

Young pieces/picks would only be used for young players. Ducks need an upgrade at forward. They just can't score goals. Going forward, Ducks have:
RW- Terry, Sennecke, Colangelo
C- Carlsson
C/LW- McTavish, Zegras
LW- Gauthier

The Fourth Period is saying Zegras is available and have added him to their Trade Bait list, fwiw.

Probably mostly for the clicks. The offense looks so much more dangerous with him in it. Even when he's playing with two guys who have no chemistry with each other. Zegras has chemistry with Carlsson and he has chemistry with Killorn... but Carlsson and Killorn have no chemistry with each other. And Zegras is still being played out of position (at LW instead is C).
