Beleskey has to be the answer for the Ducks though. The next goal he scores (his 22nd) will double his previous career high.

I think offensively it might be Vatanen, though his defensive game is still third pairing level.

Perreault for the Jets

That's my answer as well. Brought in as a depth piece for the third line and ends up the best player on the second line.

Honorable mention to Lowry just because expectations were so low.

Anders Lee. Started the season on the Ahl, beat out by Cory Conacher :amazed:

18 goals, second leading goal scorer in NY and leading role goalscorer.

Can barely skate and not much of a playmaker ,but had exceeded expectations for sure.

Another Dave Andrewchuck?

Jooris for the Flames.

When they picked him up I thought he might be one of those solid career AHL guys who transitions into coaching, but the guy has been the perfect 3rd line centre - wins draws, defensively responsible and scores the odd goal.

Gotta say Foligno.

Honorable mention to Hartnell who we were expecting (since we moved Umberger for him) to be on an apparent downswing in his career. He's been a more than solid top-6 player though. We have no illusions that the downturn is coming, but this year he's been a nice surprise.

Dubnyk is the only answer for Wild, even though it's a small sample size. Team completely turned it around after he brought stability in our net. Zucker and Scandella have improved a lot as well.

No one for the Canucks really, everyone is pretty much scoring as expected or below expectations.

Ranger fans in this thread said Kevin Hayes, well, we Panther fans Raise you his older brother. 16 G 10 A in 44 games. Looks like he could turn out to be a 2nd line Power Forward.
