your team's biggest concern heading into playoffs

As a TB fan, not sure there is one particular glaring worry and I don't want to say "injury to a star player" because that's not team-specific. So I guess my worry is lack of physical presence throughout the lineup and/or the depth scoring/depth defense not stepping up sufficiently. Bonus: not shooting enough/playing too unselfishly

Also, being able to play on the road. 14 regulation wins in 40 road games is a horrible record, and we can't expect to win every single home game so this is an area we'll need to get figured out.

Not as worried about it in the playoffs, though. I think it's more that a lot of those road losses came during that January stretch where they were flying every day and simultaneously really struggling to score and had some injury troubles. I'm not as worried when they can stay in the same city for multiple nights.

However, should they advance, the real #1 concern will be getting clobbered in the ensuing game one if they have had more than 2 days' rest. It's a matter of clockwork.

Well. Anaheim and Vegas fan, so special HM to the team that isn't making it, I'm scared Cronin and Clune will be behind the bench to start next year because on paper they improved in the standings but realistically they are the number one team in expected goals against/60 while having the second best goals saved above expected aggregate. This team was carried by goaltending.

Ironically, that's my biggest concern with Vegas going into the playoffs. I thought the exodus of so many core players from the roster would mark the start of Vegas' decline but Cassidy deserves a lot of credit for getting his guys to elevate their play. That said, it's a coin toss if Hill or Samsonov are going to have a good game or utterly shit the bed.

...not a damn thing...the Habs actually making the Playoffs would be a huge win for their young core already...if they can give Washington a hard time, all the better... :thumbu:

Devils: not having Jack Hughes and possibly Dougie Hamilton while facing Carolina, in what would have been a very doable road to the Finals if they were healthy.

How much time will be taken up with going to memorial services.

Because the only way they're making the playoffs is if multiple team planes run into rock filled clouds...
