Your nightmare playoff outcome scenario

Vegas lead the league in attendance Carolina was 5th with Minnesota being the only other playoff team ahead of them.

Just sayin
The 2023 Vegas-Florida finals had some of the lowest ratings in years. Filling 20000 seats with fair weather fans and tourists is easier than getting millions to watch you on TV. Those teams have small fanbases due to being non traditional hockey markets.

Canes sold out their outdoor game faster than any other outdoor game in history.

Dallas-Florida/Carolina would be great.

The nightmare scenario is the road to conference finals which features more or less the same stale matchups year after year.

I know, imagine that. The teams that don't get marketed at all by the league because they're not in the big cities suddenly can't draw ratings when they are the good ones for the league.

Funny how other sports that actually promote up smaller markets when they are good instead of just the chosen few don't seem to have this issue.

Because some people enjoy sloppy high scoring games. But some people like to watch a well played well structure defensive system work like a well oiled machine.
majority of fans would rank Carolina's entertainment value as dead last and if you wanted to introduce a friend to the sport a Carolina game is the last one you'd turn on

You are allowed to feel that way. But again they are near the top of the league in attendance, set a record for how fast they sold out their outdoor game and have increased their value something like 300% since Dundon took over.

There’s a reason Rants didn’t want to play in Carolina and it had nothing to do with the fans or their support. It’s the system they play. Guentzel felt the same way. Svech probably would have lived up to his expectations and hit 50g 100pts with another team. Doesn’t mean that style isn’t great to watch for a minority of fans but Canes games are probably some of my least viewed for a reason

First off 100% spot on as far as Rants, but that's not true at all of Guentzal he wanted to stay.

Both remaining Canuck teams 1 loss from elimination is not a scenario I enjoy.

Go leaf/jets
