I think Holtz skating speed is over stated

Dude is in the 76th percentile in burst over 20 mph and 64th percentile in top skating speed

NHL EDGE Puck and Player Tracking Statistics - Skaters
Holtz top speed is fine. I think his skates are a little bit in the mud from starting from still or changing direction.

He’s putting in the effort though. His distance traveled per 60 being in the 97th percentile I believe reflects that he is skating constantly.

I don't think it's at all hyperbole to say this year's team probably has some of the worst metrics in the league in the opening 10 or so minutes of games.

Not only do we give up the first goal so often and many times in the opening minutes, there's been so many times this year where shots are like 8-2 or 13-5 or some shit either in the 1st period or first half of the 1st period. I think 8-2 was something from last game, before shots were about even to end the 1st.

And it's been happening with healthy lineups and not only against good teams, but some f***in awful teams too, like your Arizona's, Montreal's, Washington's, Columbus (first time we played them) and some other particularly poor teams.

I remember going on about this as far back as October. It was happening back then (we played 3 of those teams in the opening month) and we had mostly healthy lineups back then.

I'm sorry, since when don't you use hyperbole?

I didn't really like when they called him Shara

I don't think players or people involved with the team called him Rango, only some of us on this forum.

I'd rather just call him Yegor than Shara. Yegor is just as easy to say as as Shara (both 5 letters, 2 syllables) and and there was no one else on the team with the first name of Yegor while he was here.

Shara also sounds like a mispronunciation of Chara lol.

New Jersey(No Fanz!)
Must win

Wins over Vegas and Colorado don’t mean shit when we can’t even beat teams below us. Those wins don’t help us when we can’t even win other games.

And we’ve lost to plenty of teams like that this year. Especially at home and especially in the Western Conferenxd.
exactly.

If they win tonight, THEN i'll start believing (a little bit).

I liked Govy and I cringed everytime I saw Rango. Thankfully that wasn't a thing anywhere but a few here.
