this game against columbus brought back the worst memories. thank god, gillies played for the other side.

I was at the game with my wife tonight and what a great game it was to be at. I legitimately felt bad for columbus after the 7th goal.

I would've felt bad, too.....until Sweezy (whatever the fk his name is) started forearm-shiver'ing Nico in the back of the head, starting a slobberknocker (as JR would say).

At that point, I was HAPPY the Devils got another goal later on and only wished they would've put two more to make it 10 on those a-holes.

Pretty obvious Bratt was the secondary here.

Passed it back to Jack who I THINK tried to get it back to Bratt for a one-timer but it got deflected right back on his stick so he sent it to Timo instead.

Still counts as a secondary as the BlueJackets did not regain possession.

What's crazy is we scored 8 goals and Hamilton didn't have a single point or even 1 shot on goal. Found that a bit shocking lol. Also Hischier was 18% in the faceoff circle tonight !

On a serious note this was easily one of our best games of the year. Granted it was Columbus but it's always good to see the Devils steamroll a team. The offense is getting production from all 4 lines right now it seems which is nice.

Saturday against the Bruins will be a big test. We just need to win 1 of our next 3 to clinch home ice. Hopefully Luke is signed tomorrow and debuts Tuesday at home infront of the fans.

This clip didnt show some crosschecks/punches earlier. I think he took like 3 on Nico and then pummeled his head into boards which this clip did capture.
