I'm not interested in any excuses for Markstrom.

Has he had a shutout this year that was much more difficult than Brodeur's 6 save shutout of the Leafs in the 2000 playoffs?

what a gross product lol. i moved out of NJ 10 years ago but even if I lived walking distance from the arena and the tickets were free I wouldn’t pay for this nonsense.
 
Just imagine. Final game of the season. Need 2 points for a playoff spot. Markstrom in net. Bobblehead night. Guess who? Markstrom. Larkin scores with 3 seconds left on a @Bleedred softie. Game over. Season over. So, how many bobbleheads wind up on the ice?

It’s way too early to say definitively what Luke is going to look like in his peak . He has yet to reach it and I’d say he has looked as good as Quinn has at the same age . I’m not saying Luke is going to be as dynamic as Quinn but Kuke has yet to hit his peak . He has shown glimpses earlier in the season of being a dominant #1 Dman . Fur whatever reason he took a couple steps back since the Christmas break ( along with the rest of the team ) .

He won the faceoff clean and got no forward support from either of his wingers ..but he let the other centerman go through him and take the puck ... That sequence on the faceoff led to the goal ... so there was a lot of blame to go around.
