The lines are fine, because Haula and Noesen are interchangeable. 4th line is another attempt to find anything there. The most important thing here is the Palat Mercer Tatar line being reunited which was an important line during the 4-1 stretch the team had. They ate up some hard minutes.

Honestly, outside of Markstrom (who really can't play any worse) and the dreadful Dillon-Cholowski pairing/Cholowski at all, I think the lineup is at the very least slightly upgraded from last game with the addition of Palat and subtraction of Lazar.

I've been giving it to Palat a lot and am still praying he's not back next year, but we can't do anything about him right now and could use him for the rest of this year. I do think him being in makes the lineup better than it was last game at forward.

We only have one capable center if that makes you feel better

Glass has been pretty good. He's got 6 points in 7 games all even strength he's a plus player and his advanced stats are solid and his eye test is fine.

I think a lot of this stuff is result oriented. If they hold on against Dallas and lose in OT or a shootout and hold on against Calgary and Allen plays against PIT and wins we aren't as upset or critical. They are finding ways to lose. That's going to color everything.

Both are sad black holes of offense, but at least Lazar will throw a few hits…that at least shows some semblance of life despite doing absolutely nothing else. Dowling, however, manages to do even less than that.

It would be nice if we could ice some homegrown kids on ELC's to fill out the bottom of the roster instead of dumpster diving. There's 3 forwards that we've drafted on the roster, two who are really good, then a whole lot of nothing.

I honestly think Lazar is a black hole of everything at this point.

Was good his first two years here, but has been horrible since he came back from injury.

Dowling is 34 years old and has by far hit a career high in NHL games played this year and has played 30% of his games this year. So he’s definitely not an NHL player and that’s another thing on management that he’s been a full timer this year. I just don’t think he hurts you as much as Lazar does right now, if not for the fact that I don’t think Keefe likes him as much and won’t put him into situations he’d throw Lazar on.

I unfortunately haven't gotten to see the Devils played live since their game in December against the Kings (the good ole days of this season haha). So far this season they are 4-0-0 when I'm in the building so I hope they can stay undefeated with me in attendance lol...
